Creekside Ahoy - June 2013
In June 2013 Sarah in collaboration with Adrian and Debbie
Morris-Thomas, organised and curated 'Creekside Ahoy' a
Postcard exhibition and charity auction raising funds and
awareness for the Ahoy Sailing Centre in Deptford. The show
provided a democratic platform in which postcards by amateur and
student artists showed alongside professionals including
Humphrey Ocean, Miranda Argyle, Mali Morris and Sharon Kivland.
The event was well attended and proved popular with participating
artists and visitors. Almost £2,400 was raised through the silent
auction for Ahoy who provide river and shore based sailing and
boating experiences for young people with disabilities and from
disadvantaged backgrounds.
