Sarah Durham has been based at Art Hub Studios in Deptford, south east London since being awarded an MA in Fine Art from the University of East London in 2006.
For a number of years Sarah’s vibrant and expressive work has focussed on painting, specialising in oils. She is also an experienced printmaker (etching and collagraph) and she continues to extend her practice in different media including textile and embroidery.
Sarah has been selected twice for Creekside Open at APT Gallery, London, by Victoria Miro in 2007 and by Sacha Craddock in 2019.
In 2008 Sarah was selected by the Royal Watercolour Society for 21st century watercolour at Bankside Gallery, London.
Sarah was selected by Simon Tait for Discerning Eye 2017 at Mall Galleries, London.
Sarah has participated in numerous group shows in the UK and in 2013 has a solo exhibition in St David’s Cathedral, Pembrokeshire. She organised fundraising postcard exhibitions for 3 consecutive years (2011-13) at Art Hub Gallery supporting local charities.
Sarah regularly participates in open studio events at Art Hub Studios. Private studio visits to view her work can be arranged by appointment and she is available for private commissions.
